Our residential development team has a wide range of experience in advising national housebuilders, land promoters, regional development companies/builders, and landowners.
We can advise on all stages of a development transaction (from the initial site acquisition and the provision of planning advice, to the site set up, infrastructure agreements and plot sales), strategic land agreements, development joint venture agreements, forward sale agreements, and on disposals to affordable housing providers.
Working closely with our construction, banking, regulatory/environmental and property dispute teams, we can offer advice on all issues that arise during a transaction.
Our Recent Highlights include
- advising on a 346-unit residential development in West Yorkshire, with a GDV in excess of £75m
- acting on the sale of a 16 acre site on behalf of a landowner, to a FTSE list housebuilder
- instructed to act on behalf of a landowner in connection with the grant of a promotion agreement to a national land promoter, with an estimated market value of in excess £10m
