Haiqa qualified as a solicitor in November 2021 and has experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. Haiqa has worked on multi-million-pound projects relating to both commercial and residential developments, such as hospitals, leisure centres, railway networks, biomass plants, hydropower projects, oil refineries and botanic gardens.
She also has broad experience in drafting and negotiating various construction documents, including JCT, NEC and RIBA contracts, bespoke contracts, subcontracts, warranties, appointments, performance bonds, novation agreements, parent company guarantees, terms and conditions, settlement agreements and pleading documents.
Haiqa has also successfully led adjudications and litigation matters, dealing with and settling cases via alternative dispute resolution (mediation), and in the Technology and Construction Court.
Haiqa also has experience in dealing with and providing guidance on arbitration in IChemE contracts.
