Gordons congratulate Tarsem Dhaliwal on OBE

We are delighted to congratulate Tarsem Dhaliwal, the CEO of our long standing client Iceland, on the news of his inclusion in the King’s New Year Honours List for 2025.
He will be awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
The accolade recognises his outstanding contributions to the Welsh economy, retail sector, and charitable causes.
His professional career tells a remarkable story from his childhood in Warrington to playing a pivotal role in some of Iceland’s most significant milestones, culminating in a £1.55 billion management buyout in 2012, as well as leading many charitable causes.
