Yorkshire law firm Gordons has successfully advised property developer Marrtree on two business parks in Bradford, one of which is now fully let and another which has just been completed and has eight units available.
Marrtree Business Park based on Bowling Back Lane offered nine industrial units and Gordons’ commercial property partner, Paul Young, advised on lettings at the site. Tenants now include companies as diverse as a lighting distributor and a security systems firm.
Meanwhile, Wellington Business Park on Sticker Lane has just been completed. Paul acted for Marrtree on the assembly of the site – including the purchase of the land from Bradford Council – and he will now deal with the subsequent leases on the units.
William Marshall, director of Bradford-based Marrtree, said: “We have had a long standing relationship with Gordons and Paul Young in particular. He has a commercially astute and efficient approach to handling our matters and as a landlord we appreciate his ability to ensure that our properties are let quickly to maintain our cashflow.
“Paul is always keen, immediately contactable and committed to providing the best possible service to us. We also know he is supported by an excellent team in the firm’s commercial property department.”
Located approximately two miles from the M606, Wellington Business Park comprises eight units within two terraces of self-contained portal framed business units. Each has a loading facility from a large shared secure yard which also provides ample on-site parking. The units are available individually or in combination and range in size from 1,750 sq ft to 16,000 sq ft and are ideal for a variety of business, warehouse and trade counter operations. Joint agents on the development are Walker Singleton and Eddisons.
Paul Young commented: “Marrtree is a successful developer thanks to its focus on delivering high quality units in strategically important locations. Martree Business Park has been a resounding success and by applying the same sound principles to the selection and development of Wellington Business Park I am sure it will also contribute significantly to the company’s ongoing success.”
