Yorkshire Business Insider features the Gordons pioneering legal apprenticeship programme

Senior partner, Paul Ayre was interviewed alongside Megan Stocks, lawyer and apprenticeship programme lead, for a feature in the June issue of the Yorkshire Business Insider on apprenticeships.
The article also included Tegan Knappy and Kendall Philipson, who graduated in May this year, discussing their experiences in the programme to qualify as lawyers.
The article reviews how businesses in Yorkshire are using apprenticeships to develop future talent, highlighting the Gordons programme, which launched in 2011 and was the first of its kind in the UK legal sector.
Within the article, Paul discusses the barriers to entry into the legal profession, how the Gordons apprenticeship scheme is received by clients and how the scheme helps the firm secure and retain business.
Megan, who was part of the 2012 Gordons intake, outlines her role, the growth of the scheme and what differentiates it from others.
