Jeanette Birch Solicitors – SRA Intervention

On 3 April 2025 the Solicitors Regulation Authority (‘SRA’) intervened into the practice of Jeanette Birch Solicitors of Sandbach Enterprise Centre, Wesley Avenue, Sandbach, Cheshire, CW11 1DG (‘Jeanette Birch’).

What does this mean?

If you were a client of Jeanette Birch, they can no longer act for you. You will need to find a new solicitor to act. Gordons are not acting for you. If you need help finding a new solicitor you can search for a new solicitor on the Law Society’s Find a Solicitor site, or you can call the Law Society on 020 7320 5650 Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.

How do I get my file?

We are collecting all live/ongoing client files previously held by Jeanette Birch. We will be writing out to all clients where we recover a live file. You can email us at intervention@gordonsllp.com or call us on 0333 987 5620 to check if we are holding your file and tell us where you would like us to send it. If we need any more information from you before sending your file, we will let you know.

What has happened to old/archived files?

All old/archived files held in storage by Jeanette Birch are being collected for indexing by the SRA. If you want to request old/archived files please contact the SRA’s archives team at iaf@sra.org.uk or 0204 525 0250.

Jeanette Birch were holding money for me. What should I do?
