On 10 September 2024 the Solicitors Regulation Authority (‘SRA’) intervened into the practice of Emma Simcox-Oliver at Simcox Oliver Limited (‘Simcox Oliver’) of 23 Shaws Road, Altrincham, WA14 1QUs
Information for clients
If you were a client of Simcox Oliver, they can no longer act for you. You will need to find a new solicitor to act. Gordons are not acting for you. If we need any more information from you before sending your file, we will let you know.
Simcox Oliver were holding money for me. What should I do?
If you believe Simcox Oliver were holding money for you, you may be able to apply to the SRA Compensation Fund. As it is a discretionary fund, applications are considered using the criteria set out in the rules. Information for creditors
An intervention is not the same as an insolvency event. Neither we nor the SRA have assumed responsibility over any debts of the firm.
Simcox-Oliver remain responsible for their debts and you should make your own enquiries about pursuing them.
