EU General Product Safety Regulation

This Regulation modernises the EU general product safety framework and attempts to address challenges posed to product safety by the digitalisation of EU economies. The definition of ‘product’ has changed, and the safety of digitally connected products must also be assessed. The implementation period ends on 13 December 2024.
