Regulation on Deforestation Free Products

The UK Government will introduce secondary legislation to ensure no products produced on land linked to deforestation will be placed on UK supermarket shelves.
No timescale for laying the regulations has yet been publicised. This new due diligence legislation will require regulated businesses to establish and implement a due diligence system for any regulated commodity, and any products derived from them, that they use in their UK commercial activities.
